Say hello to Nathan James who paints these creepy/cool/funny works. He tries to focus on the worlds and lives of the underclass, slackers, perverts, and failures rather than beautiful and successful people.
It’s a break-away from his clean hard-edged pop-style paintings. He calls this series ‘Pessimist Pop’. Nathan James is influenced by Stuart Shave, Kaye Denachie, John Currin, Dawn Mellor, and George Condo.
Expect some great things in the future, since he is obsessed with 3D printing and is currently building his own 3D printer.
